What is the best table position for shooting?

Question: What is the best table position for shooting?

Answer: I recommend a position that will put you as close to the back wall as possible.

Depending on your preference and practice, I would suggest either stick-right, stick-right 1 or stick-left, stick-left 1.  These positions require less energy.  You have more control in keeping the dice together in a mirror image, on axis, and allowing them to land softly at the other end of the table.

For the best results, your throw should at a 45-degree arc, raising 14-16 inches off the table surface. (Note: The harder the table surface, the lower your arc should be.)   And be sure you aim for a spot ("sweet spot") that will keep the dice out of the radius of the table.
