A couple of weeks ago, I
had the pleasure of visiting with the DiceCoach and his wife during the
"Beat the House" Seminars sponsored by the Stations Casino in Las Vegas.
The Casino had invited experts from the gaming world to talk, promote and
exhibit their winning approaches to the various games offered in Las
Vegas.
During this convention, DiceCoach sponsored a "No 7's" contest. The
contest format was simple, just throw the dice as many times as you can
without a "7" showing. The contest was held on the new DiceCoach
Practice Stations, offering the next best thing to a real Craps table
for home practice sessions.
Prizes were awarded to the top three "rollers" each day. With over 150
people participating, more than 30 % were women. And, in fact, on Day One
women placed 1st and 3rd. On Day Two, women shared 2nd and 3rd place! How
about that!! And it just confirms what I have felt all along. With a
little encouragement and practice, we women can take our rightful place at
any Craps game.
During the "No 7's" contest, I had the opportunity to speak to many of the
ladies. The point most often made was, that they are "looking for the
opportunity to learn the finer points of the game without the overwhelming
intimidation of the casino". This confidence building is where the
DiceCoach Classes can be extremely important. Whether you are just
learning the game or improving your skills, education and support are
critical to your confidence building.
My personal dream is to find at lot of women interested in learning or
improving their skill in the game of Craps. We could network and support
one another, arranging to meet and play together.
Think of the energy we could bring to the table! And energy translates
into winning, what could be better! So how about it ladies? Any of you
