Strategy # 21

Can't Lose After The Come Out Roll

Basic Gist: Get past the Come Out, and you'll win.
Max Loss: $29
Note: Must be played at a $1 table in a casino that allows 30 X Free Odds or more.

This involves betting against the shooter, and then hedging whatever point is established so that you win if the point is made or the player sevens out! Here's how it works:

Make a $30 Don't Pass bet along with a $1 Pass Line bet.

On the come out roll.....

  • If a 2 or 3 is thrown, you win $29 (8.3 % chance)
  • You lose $29 on a throw of seven or eleven. (22.2 % chance)
  • If a 12 is thrown, you lose $1 (2.8 % chance)

If a point is made (a 66.7 % chance), you now place one of the following bets (depending on which point was established)
From this point on, you have no chance of losing.

  • If the point is a 4 or 10, you will place a $20 Free Odds bet behind your $1 Pass bet.
  • If the point is a 5 or 9, you will place a $24 Free Odds bet behind your $1 Pass bet.
  • If the point is 6 or 8, you will place a $27 Free Odds bet behind your $1 Pass bet.

Now wait for an outcome.

  • If the point is 4 or 10, you win $11 if the point is made, or $9 on a seven out.
  • If the point is 5 or 9, you win $7 if the point is made, or $5 on a seven out.
  • If the point is 6 or 8, you win $1 if the point is made, and $2 on a seven out.

As you can see, there is no possible way to lose after the come out roll.  BUT getting past the come out can be tough.

Here's an alternate version of this strategy for a $2 table with 5X odds.  It's not quite as good, but you may have better luck finding these table parameters.

Make a $15 Don't Pass bet along with a $2 Pass Line bet.

On the come out roll.....

  • If a 2 or 3 is thrown, you win $13 (8.3 % chance)
  • You lose $13 on a throw of seven or eleven. (22.2 % chance)
  • If a 12 is thrown, you lose $2 (2.8 % chance)

If a point is made (a 66.7 % chance), you now place one of the following bets (depending on which point was established)
From this point on, you have no chance of losing.

  • If the point is a 4 or 10, you will place a $10 Free Odds bet behind your $2 Pass bet.
  • If the point is a 5 or 9, you will place a $10 Free Odds bet behind your $2 Pass bet.
  • If the point is 6 or 8, you will place a $10 Free Odds bet behind your $2 Pass bet.

Now wait for an outcome.

  • If the point is 4 or 10, you win $7 if the point is made, or $3 on a seven out.
  • If the point is 5 or 9, you win $2 if the point is made, or $3 on a seven out.
  • If the point is 6 or 8, you *LOSE* $1 if the point is made, and win $3 on a seven out.
